AAdvantage card and AA branded credit cards where just cut in half. All the AA excuses are BS. I'd buy the profit talk if AA hadn't done the same thing when they bought the remains of TWA. UA has publicly said on numerous occasions that EWR > TLV is one of their most profitable routes. If AA wanted to fly to Israel they would and they certainly could have made he route profitable. Flights to TLV are much less price sensitive then other overseas markets. Dispute all the talk and all the defending of AA on this board - dropping TLV can only be seen as a political move by AA.
