While boarding in T3 last week, between the gate agent and the plane door I came across a lady with a clipboard with a BA purser style neck scarf but a red hat with a BA logo on it. The red hat really looks like the Qatar style lady's hat with a BA logo. I almost though she had mixed and matched a BA uniform with a QR hat. Actually, the BA hat looked better quality and looks like it is made from wool.

Is this worn by all female despatchers or does it denote something else. I can only recall something similar being worn by "Anita" on the tele, the person who greats all the VIPs at the royal suite.
