Thanks for the info. Lounges would just be a plus. It's really seat upgrades that matter most to me. I have TSA pre check and I rarely check a bag, so those perks wouldn't really matter. I don't know what program is the best for upgrades.

At this point I'm thinking I focus on AA to get the 20K miles I need for Gold by the end of this year. Next year I can look at a different airline to target. What do you recommend? Is AA Gold even worth a MR?
