I'd say that's practically not sufficient travel on one alliance to justify putting much more money at it. Afaik there are CCs that give you access to lounges at airports (not just the airline co-branded CCs, I think AMEX is big at it). That's probably your best bet. If you're close to AA Gold, maybe worth it to spend ~$200 to get it, but...
