Broadly agree, but being simplistic BA has 28 F seats a day to SIN, so say 7.5k seats over the booking window (given no blackout dates). If even 500 seats were booked in a single day that's a big slug of their capacity (lot of people on here going to HKG or elsewhere had a preference for routing via SIN!), similar for SYD with only 14 F seats per day - 300 seats sold there could be 8% of capacity in next 9 months...
But that is too simplistic. BA has not set A = F in fare class, ie A may sell out but F doesn't. Most likely 9 seats at most, if that even. I am sure there's an algorithm that says if 5 A booked within x hours, block out remainder A and offer F only.
