Week 3, Day 3

Today is probably the first day of this TR where there isn’t much to report. My working day started at a leisurely 8am after a shower, breakfast and writing up my latest part of my TR.

I spent most of the day either on the computer or phone, following up on projects from previous meetings or setting up and organising my events for the next week.

To ease my diary in September it looks like I may not need to visit Frankfurt as mentioned last week. I am waiting for full confirmation but it looks like we may be able to combine this with another meeting at a later date.

I have a meeting on Friday so I needed to prepare a little for that, however it is more of a meet up and coffee so no formal presentation is needed. I feel if nothing is prepared the key messages do not get discussed. In this case preparation is key to make it the chat progress so we both get something out of it.

At around 4pm I met a friend for a quick coffee and catch up. By 1730 I was back home and finishing up for the day.

This was one of those days which seems to pass by without much happening. I did manage to reduce the emails in my inbox and progress some key projects. It is always important to have a few of these days, especially when travelling a lot. It allows me to take stock and plan for the week ahead.
