When was that? They are constantly improving the maps. That said, I just used the map that came with my Avis rental combined with the directions on the hotel website. It's not like there's a huge network of roads in the Yucatan. There's the main highway or the local roads which are indeed in somewhat poor condition. The main highways start out from the cities as large modern US Turnpike like roads and as you get out near Santa Rosa it turns into a two lane highway, but still modern like you would find in the US.
