I had a fantastic short stay here. There are Sheratons that are like 4 Points and there are Sheratons that are similar to Westins. This was one of the nicer Sheratons I've stayed at.
I was busy moving my daughter's furniture to San Diego (Uhaul then put it in storage) and made last minute reservations here. I got to the hotel ~9PM after making an online booking at 8PM. Needless to say, after loading a storage unit all afternoon, I looked only slightly better than a homeless person.
Dena checked me in and we made a bit of small talk. She assigned me a room on the 12th (Club) floor. I got to the room and it was 1205; the Governor's Suite! One of the best upgrades I've scored in a few years. The room was fantastic.
I ended up ordering Grab and Go for dinner, which I picked up in the bar and brought back to my room. Food was OK (nothing special), but they knocked 20% off of my bill because it took so long for me to get my food (I didn't ask and didn't mind waiting). ^
The lounge was very nice; furnishings were in great shape and the views were awesome. Food was decent; no eggs but there wasn't any low end slop that you see in a lot of lounges. All of the food looked like good quality. They had cold cuts, which I really appreciated. Decent selection of meats (3) and 3 or 4 cheeses to choose from.
I didn't get a chance to check out most of the other facilities but I definitely will on my next stay there. And I'll be booking here again.
