How about this for a story...
Last year I was flying Delta ATL-RSW (Regional Southwest, Ft. Myers, Fl.), a flight full of tourists. I was the only one who appeared to be traveling on business (yes, I was traveling on business).
The flight started out kind of funny, in the boarding area everyone was in t-shirts, bathing suits, tropical shirts, wife-beater shirts, etc, and I was in a jacket and tie! If you were walking by you might have thought it was a Southwest boarding gate!
Anyway, I boarded towards the end of the boarding process and intended to take my First Class 1A seat. There were two people sitting in 1A and 1B, both wearing tropical shirts and short-shorts. I asked to see their boarding passes. "I don't have them."
"Are these your seats?"
"No, they were 20-something, but these seatss look more comfortable, so we're sitting here."
"Uh, no. Sir, please return to your coach seats immediately." He refused and continued to sip a hard drink that the FA served him before I entered.
I stepped out onto the jetway where the FA was greeting pax and explained the situation to her. She glanced at the manifest and confirmd that they weren't supposed to be there. She walked to the two passengers, grabbed the drink from his hand, and ordered them to return to their coach seats. They did. I was treated like a king that flight!
"That curtain isn't enough; We need a locking door!"
