Thanks HNL. The GRU page on wikipedia say AEP flights depart from T3. Perhaps that's an error. Maybe I will call TAM and ask them if they have a pre-security transfer desk at T3. I really want to avoid pushing the flight back...next best option arrives in BA something like 5 hours later, eating into a short trip...
