I don't have strong opinions about the seats, but the food in economy is much better on ANA. I might even spend 3 extra hours for it.

edit: also the last time I went on ANA as Silver, self-selection of seats was not possible, but they automatically put my companion and me in the little 'premium economy' section (rows 19-21). It is much nicer if you're on either side, as there are only two seats.
