I'm already an AA Gold elite status member. I qualified June this year and it expires in 2017. If I qualify for Platinum or Executive platinum between now and the end of year, when should the Platinum or EXP status be good until?

What is the recommended time frames to qualify before in order to get the longest periods of elite status? Thanks!
