Can anyone confirm whether student passes are "eligible" for getting the altitude benefit of eupgrade credits for eligible flight pass activities?

The benefit states it has to be an eligible flight pass of 6,8,...flight credits. The student passes are 6 credits so it meets that requirement, but I don't know whether there's an exclusion of this pass variety.

The non-student variety of the pass I'm looking at is within pennies of the same cost per credit, the only difference is the amount of credits. So, I might be able to earn a few extra eupgrade credits by snagging an additional pass.
