And where is the truly low-cost carrier in Canada, when they exist virtually everywhere, including in Gulf states where I work frequently, and now even in Japan. Air Arabia, an LCC who operates out of Sharjah just ordered high-density B737 with 8 hour range so they can carry labour workers to East Asia. that will be fun.

OP can complain about AC service NON-transgression, but you are limited in your choices here in Canada for generally political reasons, NOT because the market does not wish to provide a better alternative - it simply can't although must credit AC / industry lobbyists for the fine job they are doing for their firms.
