Battered Luggage on a strange journey

Another off flight experience to moan about with BA......

On a LAS-JFK flight on Sunday and due to weather, we got diverted to Charlotte. Cant be helped i suppose but I had a 3 hour window to connect to LHR.

Managed to get to the Gate with 20 minutes to spare and even although the gate hadnt closed and a passenger had still to go on, they refused to Board us as our cases hadnt made it in time. They then faffed about that much that they couldnt get us on the next flight so we had to get a flight 2 hours later meaning we were missing our connecting flight at LHR to GLA

Arrives at LHR and guess what.......they hadnt even got our cases on that flight. We could have been on the earlier flight and home 5 hours earlier.

Fills out the forms and receives an email. Somehow, they had completely the wrong address, the wrong colours of cases and were only showing 3 instead of 4. Whats the point of the form ?

I was told they would text me when they had arrived later that day but heard nothing for 24 hours. Called them and they had landed at LHR but they didnt realise they had to go to Glasgow as that was a separate booking. They then somehow, and i will never understand this, sent the cases 1 by 1 on 4 different flights yesterday, the last of which landed at 9pm or something last night.

Again, i was told that someone would be in touch to make sure there was someone at the house but no call. Phoned them again and they put me on to courier who was just about to leave and get an empty house.

Ended up going and picking them up myself and one of my bags is in a right old state. Zips all burst. Corner of the case all torn. Gold card destroyed. And the case is filthy.

Said it in a thread a few weeks back, if it wasnt for their cabin crew, i would be long gone.
