The Blue Glove

I honestly didn't think the CW service could get any worse but on my flight home from Singapore last night, I think they reached a new level...

Apart from the fact the two 'seasoned' cabin crew serving the upper deck seemed in a rush to get the service completed as quickly as possible on a 13 hour flight, the consistent omission of passengers in drinks service was surpassed only by the 'Blue Glove', which was a first for me.

One of the crew was so keen to get things over with she started serving main courses wearing the blue 'rubber' gloves that seem to be worn in the galley for clearing away leftover food from the plates, so keen was she to save time.

I was astonished when she literally slapped my main course down on my tray wearing said gloves with food debris visible on them. I did mention the gloves to her but she could have cared less.

Really, is this what it has come to in Club World BA?
