A 26-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly head-butting an airline stewardess on a 10 hr transatlantic flight. The woman had to be physically restrained by cabin crew on the overnight Airtours International flight from Orlando, Florida, to Manchester in the UK.
The woman, who was believed to be returning with her two children from a trip to Disneyland, was asked to stop smoking. During the flight she insisted on smoking despite the no-smoking signs and passengers and crew insisted she stop. When that happened she was said to have gone berserk, attacking and threatening the crew. The crew managed to restrain her with plastic handcuffs and locked her in the lady's toilet. But somehow she managed to bust free."
