Miles/points earned from business travel belong to the company?
I know that this might turn into red-hot issue (for a reason), but I'd rather ask to stick to legality and possibility for a company to declare that airline miles, hotel and credit card points earned during business travel belongs to the company.
I would seriously doubt that it is possible to remove or direct points/miles from airline and hotel stays to company's account, because the mileage/hotel points account belongs to an individual. However I am pretty much convinced points earned from business credit cards (AMEX, for example) could go to company's account.
Please share if you have encountered cases like above and how it was implemented.
Please also do not assume automatically that company and business travel is located in US, it is not.
