Amex MR points transfer to SQ Krisflyer program. That's your best bet for getting on the IAH-DME-FRA/BRU flights. BUT confirm availability with SQ for the award before transferring.

Amex MR points also transfer to Aeroplan so there is that option but not sure if Krisflyer or Aeroplan have the better value.
