We're booking a separate ticket either on QF or VA to fly MEL-PER later in the day. My GDS says the MCT is 90 minutes intl-to-domestic for either SQ-VA or SQ-QF, but is that too aggressive?
I'm wondering whether we will have any trouble connecting from our 0640 SQ arrival to:
(*) 0835 MEL-PER (QF)
(*) 0915 MEL-PER (VA)
(*) 1035 MEL-PER (QF)
In particular, what are the odds that we could make the 0915?
Unlike most other Australian airports MEL terminals are fairly well connected but the biggest factor is going to be customs clearance. If all goes well 0915 will be fine with time to spare as the Virgin checkin is right by Internationals arrivals. 1035 would be safe.
