The MUHA021 should give 9000 Club Carlson points but I am having all kinds of problems getting this to happen.

My car rental was booked online and took place back in April. The first problem was that insurance and extras were added on at the desk. It took a few weeks but Customer Care credited the money.

Next problem was that my Iberia Frequent Flyer number was somehow attached to the booking and somehow interfered with the Club Carlson coupon. No points or bonus ever came through to my Iberia account, but Customer Care removed the IB number anyway, hoping this might clear the blockage.

Finally I received an email from Customer Care saying it was all too late and the computers could no longer process the MUHA021 coupon.

I have emailed and phoned several times, and although the helpdesk is helpful, they are not familiar with the Club Carlson partnership and the MUHA021 coupon.

Does anyone have similar problems, or know how to explain my issue so that it goes through to the right Avis support team?
