What to expect from US Airways MAN to SFO vs BA

Slightly OT but I'm wondering what my fellow BAEC members have found when travelling with US Airways.

Due to work policies, I've been forced to take the US Airways MAN>PHI>SFO route in September. I'm wondering what to expect as I've become totally accustomed to BA for the last three years. Having trawled the net, I can find the following:

1. Access to BA lounge at MAN
2. Alcohol must be purchased on board
3. Their A330-300's have AVOID
4. I must clear immigration and collect my baggage at PHI before checking in for SFO
5. The domestic flight has no free catering
6. Access to Admirals Club lounges at PHI and SFO as a BAEC Silver.

Would that be about right? I have 2:25 minutes at PHI to 'transit' for my SFO leg. Does that sound about right and does anyone have any experience of PHI?

I've understood that on the way back, I'll be able to check my bags direct to MAN from SFO as I'm starting the journey in the US rather than the UK. Again, hoping that's correct.

This seems to pocket me 140 tier points in Y (4 x 35 points) but I seem to recall that there are issues with them being credited. Is that still happening?

Any advice is appreciated!
