shansbox your ticket now and the one you cancelled previously may have had different rules attached to it. Unless you have compared them I wouldn't assume they will give the same refund.

Personally I would not have left it for 4 weeks before making contact again. However in order to speak to someone within your timezone I would use Skype to call a location that is open at a time to suit you. There is a thread with Contact Centre information on it. I'm on my iPhone at the minute so I can't link to it.

If the refund you think you are entitled to is substantial then accept the international call charges and speak to the UK centre.

It sounds like one department is passing you to another without actually doing that internally.
