How long should we allot to connect at MEL?
We're booked on a SQ flight landing at MEL T2 at 0640 on a Wednesday.
We don't check bags and have the US Global Entry, which may make us eligible for AU "SmartGate" processing.
We're booking a separate ticket either on QF or VA to fly MEL-PER later in the day. My GDS says the MCT is 90 minutes intl-to-domestic for either SQ-VA or SQ-QF, but is that too aggressive?
I'm wondering whether we will have any trouble connecting from our 0640 SQ arrival to:
(*) 0835 MEL-PER (QF)
(*) 0915 MEL-PER (VA)
(*) 1035 MEL-PER (QF)
In particular, what are the odds that we could make the 0915?
