I have seen, mostly on last minute bookings, the J ticket booking in P on both segments (which is weird because I don't think ACV has 'P' fares), so maybe on very late bookings with a connection you could easily end up on an AC Flex/High Flex fare?
The highest Flex fare I've seen on ACV is V.

Also, it's a good idea to click on the "View more flight options" tab while booking. It's possible to get a combination of Tango and C fare (C on the flight to and from the sun destination, Tango on connectors) for little money.
