I don't do a lot of flying and as fate/luck would have it all of this had to go down on the weekend I was taking advantage of the US Airways Double Miles deal to visit the DC/VA area. However, I'm happy to report that I was not adversly affected except for the half an hour or so holding over Providence waiting for things to clear up on the ground or in the air for landing at Logan. The captain did announce that visability was down to six miles. The only disconcerting moments came while overhearing some parents in the row behind me trying to explain to their son (about age 8 or 9) why it was impratical to give each passenger a parachute and have them jump out over Providence. My itenerary was:

4/22 7:00A BOS - DCA US6509
4/23 2:00P DCA - BOS US6414
