I am struggling to find the answer to this question. I have bought an Iwatch in Miami for friend as they are £70 cheaper in the USA. It is boxed and sealed. I certainly would not put it in the Hold, I have had items stolen before that way. Can I leave the Iwatch in its box unopened in my hand luggage? I will be flying back from Miami to Heathrow in 2 days. If I have interpreted the rules correctly, then they may be an item that needs to be placed in the tray and available to be turned on. Has anyone any experience trying this?
