Please don’t put words in my mouth. I do not speak for BA. Had I been in
rxfleming’s shoes, I certainly would have considered the direct flight option if the arrival time was favourable. I would not have mentioned the original routing credit though, because, a) I would not expect the lounge agent to know (without being judgmental), and b) I am already well versed in clause 14.6.
