You might do better checking with some consolidators for the summer season. www.tiss.com has r/t for the dates you indicated from WAS-Barcelona at $715 + tax, and to Malaga at $740 + tax. Sorry I don't know where Buena Vista is in VA, but clearly $1500 is too much - assuming you were checking coach.
