As someone who flies regularly to AMS with nothing more than a laptop bag, I will hopefully benefit from these changes more than they cause a problem...I completely know why they have been brought in having sat on the plane at AMS waiting for the flight to get slowly delayed as passengers try to squeeze huge suitcases in the bins.
