I see this so happening. Having a flight from TOS to OSL, then with FR from RYG to HHN with an intercontinental connection onwards on FRA-JFK or so... it sounds like an amazing adventure. Minimum connection time 3 hours?

This would only be useful if FR started selling tickets to and from main international hubs. So far, that's not their thing. Also, what if a passenger misses an intercontinental flight due to delay or cancellation at FR? Is the long haul carrier then also supposed to take the damage?

Penny wise and pound foolish kind of offer, this is. I don't see this happen any time soon...
