No we are not planning on going to Vancouver in the next year. Ideally would love to book a new Business class trip starting in London. It hurts to throw away the costs of those two tickets but will do if we can't use the value on a new trip. We don't want to buy another ticket starting in YVR.

I had a similar issue for many years, which I eventually resolved through a one-way reward redemption. Actually, it worked out well since my 'outbound' to the UK was usually off-peak.
