Many of us are constantly hitting bonus spends so absolutely I would pay the fee; I charge my car and house taxes and pay the fee but only on airline miles which I value higher.

Here is a good story last weekend I went with my son to buy him a new car, his car was totaled and he getting a check for 12k. When we were finalizing the deal somehow c card use came up and the finance guy said "do you want to put the 12k on a card", I said "for free" he said yes the dealership owner allows it. It sure made the 12k/6 months spend on the BA Virgin card a lot easier. I had no idea a car dealer would allow it - live and learn.
