I highly doubt OZ & KE are being forced out of the Philippine market. There's enough traffic between MNL & ICN. There's a healthy mix of carriers from PAL, KE, OZ, Jeju, Zest, and Cebu Pacific. Also, there are MANY MANY Korean expats residing in the Philippines.

Also, Cathay Pacific doesn't fly from NRT to Cebu. Via HKG, yes but not a nonstop.
