No ticket number in app... should I worry?
I recently did my very first UUA from WT+ to CW - thanks to all the information on this forum!
Everything looks fine online and I have a confirmed seat as a SCH. However I noticed on the app that there is no ticket number showing against the segment which has been UUA'd. I have a number of other flights all with a ticket number showing.
When I did the UUA over the phone, the woman had some difficulty processing it for some reason (it "wouldn't go through") and said something about having to decrement the Avios manually... I didn't really care about the specifics as long as the end result was the same! She said it would "go for ticketing" and I would receive an email confirmation. As far as I can tell I haven't had that confirmation but my Avios have been deducted and everything looks OK online... only thing missing is the ticket number in the app.
This flight is still a few months out (it's just before Christmas) but due to that I want to minimize chances of any issues with this particular flight. Am I worrying too much or do I have a genuine concern?
