Norway is expensive - the only thing that we found that is cheaper than Sweden is Xtra Corn flakes - I picked one up in Kiruna and paid 13,9 kr (500g box), in Norway it was 8,9 for 750g! I don't normally buy those but it was for the kids and Mr.
If you have self-catering possibilities - buy fish and cook it yourself. Bought some halibut from Narvik fiskhallen and it was heavenly! I was trying to find somewhere I can buy fish in Lofoten but no luck - I guess Norwegians catch their own.
For Fjords - it's possible to do the Norway in a nutshell. We did it and it was spectacular , we did Bergen to Bergen, and it's possible to do it Oslo-Bergen.
Riksgransen is beautiful - basically the whole stretch from where we stayed (Katterjokk) all the way to Bjornfell was amazing. The Swedish side is just plain wilderness - as soon as you cross the border to Norway there are stuga everywhere.
I found the weather very changeable around Narvik and Lofoten. Now we learned that we need to get out and see thing when it's sunny.
I definitely look forward to another trip report! Thanks!
