We used Uber about a dozen times in Doha. Worked very well and simpler than the taxis (which either were hard to flag down or did not want to use their meters). Honestly, Uber and Taxis are cheap anyhow. I don't think we had an Uber ride over US$10 anywhere (and that was a long trip).
