Interesting site -- This is a very sophisticated device.
The images do seem to be computer enhanced, so I was wrong about the analog part.
I am still trying to figure out how the image detection is done -- it appears it is done from the source side, not the exit side (like a dental x-ray, which exposes a film behind the tooth).
It almost looks like it is working like visible light -- based on the reflection. This is why the gun isn't visible from the front (AP to us medical types) view, like it would be with a normal X-Ray.
My world is Kilovoltage and Megavoltage X-Rays, so all of this is a bit alien to me.
I would still stay away from these machines!
