We're All Naked Beneath Our Clothes!
Last night on my flight back from PDX, I happened to read an article (and I honestly don't know if it was in the Wall Street Journal or the New York Times) about the body invasion of X-ray machines at major airports. I can't remember the article verbatim, but the gist of the story (according to my feeble old brain) was that there were those who thought that the X-ray photos taken for security reasons at major airports were too revealing, and that there was a highly disturbing possibility that nefarious gate agents might be tempted to post naked X-ray images on the internet. (Please note that these images make everybody look short and fat--so they, the model types, say.)
So, my question is two fold:
1. Have any of you every been exposed to this X-ray technology at major airports? (The estimate was 5% of all travellers.) And,
2. Whether or not you have been exposed to it, how do you feel about an image of your naked body being recorded as a security operation?
Maybe, one of you KFWB Super Smart Folk can figure out a way to capture and post the image here so we can all see what I am talking about.
The whole scenario caught my attention.
