During the last year or so, on about 3 occasions, I just can't remember where I went last. There's a momentary lapse, and I work hard to "think", to put my brain into gear. I know I was someplace, but I can't seem to remember a thing, no details, nothing at all, I just know I was on a trip. After about a minute, my brain seems to come together and I remember. And, once I remember the place, I can give you almost a day-by-day account of everything I did, everything I ate, places I ate, who I met, the type rental car, the layout of the hotel room, etc. In other words, every little detail. A similar thing happens for upcoming trips (that's what made me post this today). I have a trip coming up, a leisure trip, two weeks in Montana. I couldn't remember where I was going on this trip. Again, thought really hard about it, and it came to me - Montana! Once I remembered the location, just to test my memory, I mentally went through and remembered the entire itinerary, every detail, every hotel reservation for the entire two weeks.
I know people who travel a lot have this happen. But, I don't travel as much as some of you. Do you have anything comparable happen?
