Why is that? On Avis.com (the only rental company I use 95% of the time), I very often find lower rates than I had before, but [U]all too often only[U/] for a different class of car that I had originally reserved. I've been told that AutoSlash will only look for lower rates on the same class of car. If true, that makes AutoSlash useless to me, while I can find the savings myself, thank you, by knowing to check often in the last two weeks before the rental start date as rates often drop (sometimes drastically) during that time, and by being flexible about car class (within a range).
