Timing of this thread is interesting.

Just filled an AC Listens Survey earlier today and the topic was gift cards. It asked about what incentives would entice me to consider purchasing gift cards (such as a bonus amount, flight discounts or AE miles) and asked about features such as being able to reload a card - in which case you might be less likely to dispose of it in the future in you are to reload.
