Over the years, my choice of in-flight entertainment has changed quite a bit...
Ten years ago, I had a walkman and a book. I also had a Game Boy.
Five years ago, I had a discman and would watch the occasional movie on the main screen, and still carried a book.
Two years ago, I started playing MP3s on my laptop and did work.
One year ago, I switched to a MiniDisc player (I know this may seem like a step backward, but I like the fact that I don't have to have my laptop... and I haven't looked into the portable MP3 players yet but I imagine that is the next step) and started watching a lot more of the in flight movies thanks to in-seat video. I forgot that books were printed on paper. I also started playing video games on my laptop sometimes... Sim(city, etc..), or "strategy" games like Age of Empires or games like Civilzation...
Now, I still carry my MiniDisc, but I also have a DVD-ROM drive now so I've started to bring my own movies with me. I also, surprisingly, re-discovered the paperback novel. And yes, I still play games once in a while too... the last one that I played on a plane was Homeworld.
