Stayed at the Clarion Hotel Energy Stavanger recently, have to say it was one of the best ~$100 hotels I've stayed at. Brand new right next to DFB Arena and close to the mall. Furnishings were a little Ikea-like but modern and bright. Breakfast was high quality for sure - better than many Grand Hyatt/InterContinental's I've stayed at - great variety of hot options, drinks, and a few non-conventional breakfast options such as sardines, etc. Modern fitness centre with all the different weights machines setups. Occupancy was basically very empty. Location not great for downtown (10 minutes or so by bus), but otherwise a great value property.
