It doesn't get you your luggage any quicker, it shows you where it is. I could have used something like this in April when, for two days, AZ told me they had "no idea" where my bag was. At least I'd have had some useful information.
Yup. When they were having the lifetime service deal I picked up some Trakdots. If the system works there's no point to them. If something goes wrong I at least know what's up--something the airline likely doesn't. I figure I'll be more likely to get it if I know what's going on.
