If both flights are flown by BA, then wouldn't the BA MCT apply in that case? In which case, a 2.5 hour connection (as originally stated) wouldn't be valid, so at some point a BA computer should notice and rebook them. 3.5 hours, as mentioned in other posts, would be tight but comply with the BA MCT
