Questions Regarding Jetihad Meal

I know the topic has come up many times but just wanted to check again. Apologize if some of the questions have been answered in previous threads.

My AUH-BOM flight (redeemed by Etihad Guest miles) for next January has been switched from B789 to A332 also downgraded from F to J, which is sad because the only reason for booking AUH-BOM was to fly on B789 F. Since my final destination is Delhi I called Etihad office if I could instead of flying to Mumbai I could fly to Delhi, which has F service leaving around the same time. The agent said no that I cannot change the destination (I thought being the same country why not?) and the only thing they could do is to make full refund of miles OR change to another flight on AUH-BOM. I made this booking before the change in miles requirement (now 50%+ miles required than what I originally booked!) and did not want to ask for the refund, so the only option is to choose another flight on same sector with F service, which is Jetihad 77W.

While I find hard-product like seats on Jetihad 77W not bad based on looking at photos, I'm concerned about the quality of meal offered - I've read many times here that meal service is different from normal Etihad meals, and mainly concentrated on Indian dish. Are menus really that different? So there are no "From The Grill" or "Kitchen Anytime" menu offered on longer flights like to JFK or SFO? Doesn't really matter much for short flight like AUH-BOM but was just curious to know if EY really differentiate meal products based on their own metal or Jet metal.
