Thanks to krist1an and others, we have much useful information on Norwegian hotels and restaurants.

I never thought I would need a hotel at LHR but the timings of my ex-SVG and ex-OSL flights mean that I'm looking for 4 overnight stays. (I had booked the initial flights to London on Day 1, continuing ex-LON on day 2 with a similar arrangement at the end of the trips.)

It's too far out to consider the 'secret' LM Sofitel offer, just £1 lower than the hotel's website when I checked, but still some months off. I've a stack of Hilton and IHG points and would welcome the chance of a redemption. The Hilton Garden Inn near Hatton Cross @ 30,000 HH points is a possibility, if it really is a 5 minute walk from the station. I'm culturally barred from taking the Hoppa ripoff bus except in emergency - £18 is too much of an 'enhancement'. The Hilton T4 and the Hilton (not at) T5 look expensive @ 50,000 HH points.

Canybody offer useful advice on Hilton, IHG or other recommendations, including references to other posts if appropriate? Many thanks.
