Correct. Cards issued outside Canada and USA are processed on the Diners Club International network, which is now owned and operated by Discover. The card should be accepted where a Diners or Discover logo is displayed. Discover does not issue Diners Club cards, that's done by the local franchisee. Discover only operates the network, and provides some of the benefits such as the lounge network.

Rewards and benefits are different in each country. I imagine you have looked at the Diners Club Spain site:
