Yes, my children get to fly in first or biz class at every opportunity, even on interntional flights. If that is different than your parenting standards, then that is your issue.

This is not much different than a tourist bringing a souvenier walkng stick or base ball bat from Yankee standium onto the pane. Those do not fit into the carry on size checker either. The difference is that I used my experience to take a gamble.
